The Practice
A different way of understanding your life.
Begin with the body. Widen into the life.
Your body does not exist separately from the life you are living.
Biology shapes how you experience energy, stress, work, caregiving, relationships, creativity, and change. At the same time, the conditions of your life shape what your body is being asked to carry.
The Practice is a place to pause and explore the whole picture.
We begin with the body, then move up and around through the life being lived in that body. Together, we notice what is present, connect what may be related, and listen for what needs attention, what no longer fits, and what may be asking to be created.
You do not need to arrive with a problem to solve or a question to answer.
You may simply need time to reflect.
A real conversation with a real human.
Most women rarely have a place where the full complexity of their lives is welcome.
At work, we focus on work.
At the doctor, we focus on symptoms.
With family, we focus on what everyone else needs.
Even when we make time for ourselves, we are often encouraged to choose a goal, fix a problem, or become more productive.
But your life is not a collection of separate categories.
Your energy may affect your ambition. Caregiving may change your identity. Your relationships may shape what feels possible. A biological transition may influence how you experience work, creativity, or yourself.
Sometimes nothing is dramatically wrong. You may simply sense that something is shifting, feel curious about where you are, or want space to hear your own thoughts without immediately turning them into a plan.
The Practice offers that space.
It is thoughtful, educational, personal, and grounded in the belief that you are the authority on your own lived experience.
Biology is the foundation, not the full explanation.
We begin with the body because every life is lived through one.
Depending on what is relevant to you, we may explore your biological stage of life, menstrual cycle, energy, stress, sleep, nourishment, movement, pregnancy or postpartum experience, caregiving demands, perimenopause, menopause, or other patterns you have been noticing.
We are not looking for a biological explanation for everything.
We are establishing the context beneath the conversation.
From there, we widen the lens to explore the life surrounding your body:
• Work and ambition
• Identity and becoming
• Motherhood and caregiving
• Relationships and community
• Culture and inherited expectations
• Home and environment
• Creativity and desire
• The conditions shaping your capacity
The goal is not to separate these pieces.
It is to understand how they meet inside your life.
The Mi Hita Perspective
Mi Hita lives where ancestral wisdom, modern evidence, and women’s lived experience meet.
Modern evidence can give us language for understanding biology, stress, identity, relationships, work, and change.
Ancestral wisdom reminds us that knowledge has also been carried through observation, culture, community, ritual, creativity, and the body.
Lived experience reveals how all of it actually meets inside one woman’s life.
The Practice brings these ways of knowing into conversation without asking any single framework to define you.
You are not here to be handed a formula.
You are here to understand yourself more fully, hear your own knowing more clearly, and create conditions that reflect who you are becoming.
How The Practice unfolds
BEGIN WITH THE BODY
We explore what you are observing and establish the biological and physical context of your life right now.
WIDEN INTO THE LIFE
We consider how work, caregiving, relationships, identity, culture, environment, creativity, and ambition are meeting in your current experience.
CONNECT THE PATTERNS
We notice what may be related, including recurring tensions, competing needs, inherited expectations, emerging desires, and parts of yourself that have not had room to speak.
LISTEN FOR WHAT IS BECOMING
We make space for what may be changing, what no longer fits, and what is asking for more attention or expression.
DESIGN THE CONDITIONS
When it feels useful, we consider a decision, boundary, rhythm, environment, experience, or form of support that could make something different possible.
PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
You may choose to try something in your real life, observe what happens, and refine from what you learn.
Reflection does not always need to become immediate action. Sometimes seeing yourself and your life more clearly is the work.
Choose your way in.
BEGINNING THE PRACTICE
One 45-Minute Individual Conversation
$195
A place to pause, reflect, and see the whole picture.
You do not need a problem to solve, a major transition to announce, or a perfectly formed question.
You might have several things on your mind. You might be curious about what you are noticing in your body or life. You might feel that something is shifting without knowing exactly what it is. Or you might simply want 45 minutes in which the conversation can be about you.
Before we meet, you will complete a short reflection so we can enter the conversation with context and use our time meaningfully.
During our time together, we will:
• Begin with your body and where you are now
• Explore what has been occupying your attention
• Widen the lens into the different parts of your life
• Notice connections, patterns, tensions, or possibilities
• Reflect on what feels most meaningful to carry forward
You may leave with new language, a different perspective, one practical next step, or simply a clearer understanding of yourself and this moment in your life.
This is a complete experience on its own. There is no expectation that you continue into a longer offering.
Virtual | 45 minutes | $195
THE FOCUSED PRACTICE
Three Individual Sessions
$795
For the woman who wants more space to understand what is happening and explore the connections that begin to emerge.
You may arrive with a clear question, several things that feel intertwined, or a broader sense that something in your life is shifting.
Across three sessions, we have time to move beyond the first layer, widen the lens, and follow what reveals itself. The conversation may move through your body, identity, work, caregiving, relationships, environment, creativity, culture, and ambitions because life rarely stays inside one category.
SESSION ONE: DISCOVER
We begin with your body and explore the landscape of your life right now. We notice what feels present, alive, unclear, or ready for attention.
SESSION TWO: CONNECT
We follow the threads that emerge and consider how different parts of your life may be shaping one another. We make room for patterns, tensions, desires, and possibilities that may not have been visible at first.
SESSION THREE: DESIGN AND PRACTICE
We reflect on what your new understanding makes possible.
You may identify a decision, boundary, creative experiment, experience, environmental shift, or new way of moving through your life. You may also leave with a clearer sense of what you want to continue observing.
We do not need to force everything into a tidy answer.
The Focused Practice gives you enough time to see more, understand what matters now, and begin responding with greater clarity, agency, and self-trust.
Virtual | Three 60-minute sessions | $795
THE EXTENDED PRACTICE
Eight Individual Sessions
$1,950
For the woman who wants to explore the broader architecture of her life.
You may be reconsidering your relationship to work, motherhood, leadership, creativity, your body, your identity, or the life you thought you were supposed to want.
Or you may simply want sustained space to understand yourself more deeply and consider what you want to create next.
The Extended Practice allows us to stay curious without rushing toward an answer.
Together, we may explore:
• What your body is experiencing and asking you to notice
• How your biology and daily conditions affect one another
• Patterns across work, caregiving, relationships, and identity
• Expectations you inherited and choices you want to make consciously
• Parts of yourself that have been quieted, postponed, or left behind
• Ambitions, ideas, and creative impulses that continue to return
• Conditions that could support what you want to experience or build next
This work is not limited to conversation.
Depending on what emerges, The Practice may include reflection, education, somatic awareness, environmental observation, creative exploration, or a real-world experiment designed to help you encounter a different part of yourself.
That experiment might involve changing the structure of a day, returning to a neglected creative practice, entering an unfamiliar space, taking a class, trying an experience, or moving one idea out of your imagination and into the world.
In some cases, we may design an in-person experience together. Any additional time, admission, materials, or travel would be discussed and agreed upon separately.
We do not design a perfect life on paper.
We practice, observe, and learn from what happens.
Virtual | Eight 60-minute sessions | $1,950

• Make decisions with greater context and clarity
• Create conditions that better support your biology, responsibilities, ambitions, and values
• Try something different without needing certainty about the final outcome
My role is not to tell you what your life should look like.
My role is to listen closely, bring relevant education and perspective, notice connections, ask honest questions, and help you hear yourself more clearly.
Meet Apollonia
I created Mi Hita after realizing how much of womanhood we are expected to navigate without context.
We receive fragments of information about our bodies, careers, relationships, and the roles we inhabit, but rarely have a place to understand how they all connect.
My approach draws from more than 17 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, a master’s degree in education, and continued training across women’s hormone health, fertility awareness, breathwork, yoga, pregnancy, postpartum, practicing doula, somatic practice, and creative expression.
I am not here to present one universal formula for women’s lives.
I bring education, curiosity, pattern recognition, careful observation, and a wide lens.
You bring the authority of your own lived experience.
The Practice is where we bring those forms of knowledge together.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is The Practice therapy?
No. The Practice is not therapy, mental health treatment, crisis support, or clinical care.
It is an educational and reflective experience for understanding the interconnected forces shaping your life and identifying grounded ways to respond.
If something arises that would be better supported by a licensed mental health professional or another qualified provider, we will name that honestly.
Is this medical or individualized hormone care?
No. The Practice does not provide medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized hormone protocols.
Biological and hormonal literacy may be used as an educational lens when relevant, but this work does not replace care from a qualified medical professional. It is also not a substitute for birth control or other family-planning measures.
Is this coaching?
The Practice shares some qualities with coaching, including inquiry, reflection, and practical experimentation, but it is not traditional life, career, or performance coaching.
It is a Mi Hita approach that begins with the body and brings education, lived experience, identity, creativity, and life design into the same conversation.
Do I need to know what I want to talk about?
No.
You can arrive with a question, several overlapping thoughts, or no defined agenda at all. The pre-conversation reflection will give you a place to notice what has been on your mind and help us decide where to begin together.
Do I have to leave with an action plan?
No.
You may leave with a practical next step, but action is not the only meaningful outcome. Greater context, language, self-understanding, or a question worth continuing to notice can be equally valuable.
Do I have to begin with the 45-minute conversation?
No. It is the simplest entry point, but it is not required.
If you already know you want more time, you may begin with the three-session Focused Practice or schedule a fit conversation for the eight-session Extended Practice.
Can my employer sponsor this?
Yes. Organizations may sponsor individual Practice conversations or group experiences as part of a Mi Hita Workplace engagement.
You do not need to reinvent your entire life today.
You may only need enough space to notice what your body and your life have been trying to tell you.
Come with a question, a transition, several tangled thoughts, or nothing more than the desire to reflect.
We will begin where you are.
