Whether you track your cycle in an app, in a journal, or not at all, do you know how to use that information to support your daily life?
Cycle tracking can help you notice patterns in your energy, mood, sleep, appetite, movement, and more. But collecting the data is only the beginning. The real value comes from understanding what it means and learning how to apply it.
Because we can all download another app. Taking the time to deepen your connection with yourself is something technology can’t replicate.
Join Mi Hita and Vessel Refills for Cycle Literacy 101, an evening designed to help you better understand your cycle and create a simple tracking practice you can actually use.
We’ll begin by mixing and mingling over cycle-supportive refreshments. You’ll receive a sustainable cycle starter kit that includes:
• One pair of reusable period underwear from The Period Company
• Zero-waste laundry booster to help care for your period underwear
• A bullet journal for DIY cycle tracking
Then, Apollonia Gallegos, founder of Mi Hita, will lead an approachable Cycle Literacy 101 presentation. We’ll explore what happens throughout the menstrual cycle, the shifts you may notice, and how this information can support your choices around energy, nourishment, movement, rest, and daily life.
Afterward, we’ll put what you’ve learned into practice during a guided bullet-journaling session. You’ll begin creating your own cycle tracker and learn what to pay attention to. If you don’t currently know where you are in your cycle, that’s completely okay. We’ll help you begin figuring it out.
The evening will flow like this:
6:30 PM: Arrive, mix and mingle, and enjoy refreshments
6:45 PM: Receive your sustainable cycle starter kit
7:00 PM: Cycle Literacy 101 presentation
7:30 PM: Guided bullet-journaling session
7:45 PM: Q&A, connection, and time to mingle
8:00 PM: Event concludes
